Programme Manager
About Hong Kong Open Printshop
Founded in 2000, Hong Kong Open Printshop (HKOP) is Hong Kong’s first non-profit open printshop run by artists. In 2012, Hong Kong Open Printshop registered as a charitable organisation. Our main aim is to promote visual art with an emphasis on image making and give back to the community by providing art programmes that people of all ages and from all walks of life can enjoy.

In 2022, Hong Kong Open Press was established by HKOP with a vision to preserve and promote the significant history of Hong Kong's letterpress printing industry. Its mission includes inheriting Chinese movable type and letterpress techniques while revitalizing this traditional craft through contemporary interpretations.
Duties include:

Overseeing and managing a community art project

Preparing and monitoring project schedule

Leading a small team to plan and coordinate printmaking workshops, programmes and a finale exhibition

Preparing regular updates for Directors

Requirement:
-
Bachelor’s degree holder or above, preferably major in visual art or cultural management related disciplines.

At least 5 years of experience in arts administration and with knowledge of Hong Kong arts and cultural sector is preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of non-profit organisation management, including program planning, budgeting and reporting.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

A team player, be able to work independently and under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including staff, board members, donors, and community partners.

A commitment to the organization's mission and values, and an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing non-profit arts and cultural organizations.

Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese including Mandarin

Occasional shift duty is required. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
